BenchMe is a free tool to evaluate performance of various data storage devices. BenchMe measures access time, linear read speed, and IOPS for a 512 data block and queue depth (QD) 1 and 32. BenchMe displays the detailed information on the analyzed storage along with a list of all the available capabilities of the device. BenchMe allows to copy obtained benchmark charts to a clipboard with various sizes or just print them out.

Publisher Description

Window 8 CompatibleBenchMe is a free tool to evaluate performance of data storage - rotational hard drives (internal and external), solid state drives (SSD), RAID arrays, memory cards, and USB thumb drives. BenchMe measures the following characteristics: access time in milliseconds, linear read speed in MB/s, and IOPS for a 512-byte block and queue depth (QD) 1 and 32. Maximum, minimum, and average values of access time and linear speed are also provided. BenchMe displays the detailed information on the analyzed storage device such as device name, serial number, revision, and number of bytes per physical sector. The tool also provides a list of all the available capabilities of the device. BenchMe allows to copy obtained benchmark charts to clipboard with various sizes or just print them out. Visit www.BenchBench.com to see typical benchmark charts made by BenchMe for a rotational hard drive, an SSD, and a RAID array.
